PLR Terms of Use

These terms describe what you are legally allowed to do with a digital product (like an ebook, course, template, software, etc.). The main difference is how much freedom you have to modify it and sell it. Here’s a clear breakdown:

1. PLR – Private Label Rights

Most flexible license.

With PLR, you can usually:

• Edit or rewrite the content
• Put your name as the author
• Rebrand it
• Sell it
• Give it away
• Bundle it with other products
• Use parts of it in your own content (blogs, courses, etc.)

Example:
You buy a PLR ebook about fitness → you can:

• Change the title
• Rewrite chapters
• Add your branding
• Sell it as your own ebook

⚠️ Some PLR licenses restrict things like selling on marketplaces (Amazon, etc.), so always read the license.

2. MRR – Master Resale Rights

You can sell the product AND pass resale rights to your customers.

With MRR, you can usually:

• Sell the product
• Keep 100% of the profit
• Allow your customers to resell it too

But you cannot usually:

• Modify the product
• Claim authorship
• Change branding

Example:
You buy a course with MRR →

• You sell it for $20
• Your customer can also sell it for $20 (or any price allowed)

3. RR – Resell Rights

You can sell it, but your buyers cannot resell it.

With Resell Rights, you can:

• Sell the product
• Keep the profits

But you cannot usually:

• Modify it
• Give resale rights to your customers

Example:

• You buy an ebook with Resell Rights
• You sell it for $10
• Your buyer can only use it, not resell it

4. Personal Use Only

Most restrictive license.

You can:

• Use the product for yourself

You cannot:

• Sell it
• Give it away
• Modify it for resale
• Claim ownership

Example:

• Buy a personal-use course
• Only you can watch and learn from it.
